People told me I was crazy for planning this party. They probably still think I am. But here’s the thing—it was never about the party. It was about creating something where people can come together and share an experience. I like that whole process. And then you find yourself leaning so far into the bit and embracing the ridiculousness. And eventually, everyone else does the same. Then its not even a bit anymore. Maybe you don’t get it. But it makes sense to me. Maybe it was “just a halloween party”. I’m not sure. Either way, when I’m old and forgotten, October 2065 will come up and I think people will think to themselves: “damn, remember that one halloween party back in the day? that was primo”. By the way, its feels good to create things. Go make something.
